WHAT IS KRAV MAGA?
Krav Maga is one of the world's most effective and dynamic systems of personal defense. It originated in Israel in the 1930s, but has since evolved to become a global self defense phenomenon. As a method of hand to hand combat, Krav Maga is used by many of the world's most renowned military, special forces, and law enforcement units - and because of its power and simplicity, it's also practiced by millions of ordinary men and women worldwide. Krav Maga has proven itself to be supremely effective in real-life crisis situations, and enables anyone - even a smaller practitioner - to successfully defend against a larger, stronger aggressor.
CAN I LEARN KRAV MAGA?
Krav Maga is suited to men and women of all ages, regardless of ability or fitness level. It's designed to exploit an opponent's weaknesses - physical and psychological - and is the very definition of an unfair fight. There are no sporting rules in Krav Maga, and the use of weapons is also taught, in addition to empty hand techniques. This means that you can learn Krav Maga quickly, effectively, and realistically, and the techniques can be adapted to your specific body type and unique strengths.
